BRUKL Reports for commercial property

 Building Regulations UK Part L

New commercial buildings being proposed for planning require to meet the new Part L Energy Efficiency Regulations 2023. This means a BRUKL Report is required as part of the legal compliance to ensure the building will meet the targets required. This report is required for Building Control and planning.

The procedure is to send all the proposed drawings over to us with all the proposed building materials and HVAC being installed. The proposed building is then entered into a computer model where we can measure the proposal against the building requirements. We then work with the client to ensure all building energy targets are met. Once this is completed a BRUKL Report is issued and is given to the Building Control/Planning Officer.

Once the building has been built, an "as built" EPC will be required which is then lodged on the government site and remains in place for 10 years.
