This is a sample Energy Performance Certificate. You are probably familiar with the graph lay out as it is a standard used for all electrical appliances supplied within the EU, stating the energy used in power terms. This certificate relates to the amount of CO² produced from the building in an asset rating. The scale runs from A-G, with A being the best or least producing CO², and G being the worst or most producing CO².

A certificate is given to the client on completion of the Energy Assessment including a recommendation report suggesting options to improve the CO² emissions and reduce the running costs of the building.
